Songwriters Mel Padron Golding and Boglarka Gerstner, have delved deeply within their souls and worked intensely on their material.
From a cultural and musical perspective, their collaboration is unique, evoking an array of emotions in the listener. Their shared common ground with a love for classical music to hard edged rock, enabled these ladies to gel in an instant.
Melanie; An extremely versatile vocalist has been trained since the age of twelve through public performances, studio grafting began at the age of sixteen in Monroe Studios, London, where her skills began to soar through recording as a session singer, writing her own album and working for Lipsync Productions writing jingles for radio and television. Mel comes from a field of soul/pop/R&B yet developed her taste and interest later for rock/alternative/goth.
Boglarka; Classically trained pianist/composer, her passion for music roots from classical music, later being interested in jazz, progressive rock, rock and film music.
All these styles mixed with classical roots resulted in her style, classical orchestration with elements of rock. She also published piano books for children and is a piano teacher at an established music conservatoire in London.
Their musical compatibilities have led to something unique in today's market, embodying elements of pop/rock/classical with the view to making music for film and their debut album.
Their songs reflect the authenticity of their individual backgrounds, these profound messages and magical music speaks for itself....the new discovered sound of Nova Luna is born.
This heart felt composition of soaring melodies and deeply profound lyrics, have culminated into a beautifully feminine project fused with classical sounds and rock.
